Terms of Service
Effective September 24, 2026
These terms govern your use of theNasty, including our website, MCP server, ChatGPT app, and Claude connector. By creating an account or connecting theNasty to an AI assistant, you agree to them.
Your account
You must be at least 18 to place orders. Keep your password secure; you are responsible for activity under your account, including orders an AI assistant starts on your behalf while connected.
Who you're buying from
theNasty is the seller of record for every order. Parts are shipped directly to you by the manufacturer or distributor that stocks them (“drop-shipped”). An order with parts from several suppliers may arrive in separate packages.
Orders and payment
- An assistant can search, quote, and start an order. An order is only placed when you complete payment on Stripe's checkout page.
- Prices are in US dollars. Prices, stock, shipping, and tax shown in a quote are estimates until you pay. If something changes, we will tell you before charging.
- If a part turns out to be unavailable after you pay, we'll refund that part in full.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
Shipping
Each supplier ships its parts in its own package, on its own schedule, typically quoted as a lead time at checkout. Shipping is charged per package and shown before you pay. Oversized parts that ship by truck need a freight quote, which we'll send you before any charge. We email tracking as soon as a supplier provides it, and we'll tell you promptly — with the option to cancel for a refund — if a part can't ship when we said. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers. Our Shipping Policy has the details and is part of these terms.
Returns and warranty
Unused, uninstalled parts in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Contact supportfirst for a return authorization; don't send parts back to the supplier directly. Installed electrical parts, special-order items, and opened chemicals can't be returned. Manufacturer warranties pass through to you, and we'll help you file a claim. AI-generated guidance
Fitment matches and repair context come from supplier data and may be wrong. AI assistants can make mistakes. Check part numbers against your engine or vehicle, follow the manufacturer's service manual, and use a qualified mechanic for work you are not confident doing — especially anything affecting fuel, brakes, steering, or structural safety. theNasty is not responsible for damage or injury from repairs.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no scraping the catalog, reselling supplier pricing or access, placing orders on someone's behalf without their consent, interfering with its operation, or using it for anything illegal. API keys are personal to your account and must be kept secret; we may suspend keys that are misused.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the order giving rise to it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms and will change the effective date when we do. You can stop using theNasty and delete your account at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
